Friday Prayer Leader of Ravansar: Islamic Iran is Not an Artificial Entity That Can Be Dismantled

Mamusta Mohammad Mahmoudi stated: The Islamic Republic is a country with an ancient history and deep-rooted civilization that has preserved its existence for thousands of years despite numerous aggressions. It is not an artificial entity that can be destroyed.

ABNA24 - Mamusta Mohammad Mahmoudi stated: The Islamic Republic is a country with an ancient history and deep-rooted civilization that has preserved its existence for thousands of years despite numerous aggressions. It is not an artificial entity that can be destroyed.

Mamusta Mohammad Mahmoudi, the Friday Prayer Leader of Ravansar County, commented on the renewed aggression of hostile countries against Iranian territory.
He stated: "The nature of regimes like the US and Israel is built upon occupation and warmongering. Over the past decades, the expansion of occupation in Palestinian territories and parts of the region has continued. On the other hand, the Americans do whatever it takes to promote modern colonialism in the world."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Ravansar County said: "Resistance against this process is naturally met with hostile reactions from these regimes. It seems that the Americans and Zionists consider Iran their main enemy and believe that by weakening Tehran, they will pave the way for achieving their regional goals."

Regarding the attack on Iran while nuclear negotiations were underway, this Sunni cleric clarified: "The United States and the Zionist regime launched an attack in the middle of the negotiation process, while according to Omani officials, reaching an agreement was completely feasible given Iran's goodwill."

Mamusta Mahmoudi described this action as "a betrayal of the path of diplomacy" and added: "While serious about negotiations, the Islamic Republic of Iran had maintained its full defensive readiness, drawing on past experiences, including the 12-day June war."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Ravansar County added: "Iran did not initiate the war, but it has been prepared to defend against any aggression and has demonstrated this readiness to this day."

Referring to past experiences of US dishonesty and the destructive role of the Zionist regime, he stated: "The Islamic Republic of Iran still considers diplomacy the best and only path to resolve disputes, while simultaneously maintaining full readiness to defend itself. To this day, it has thwarted its enemies and aggressors."

He added: "The Islamic Republic had previously warned against any aggression and, under Article 51 of the UN Charter, has the right to legitimate self-defense."

Mamusta Mahmoudi further stated: "Since the US has acted against Iran through its bases in the southern Persian Gulf countries, these bases are considered legitimate targets."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Ravansar County continued: "Iran emphasizes maintaining positive relations with regional countries and has limited its actions to US military assets. However, any attack on Iran's vital infrastructure will be met with a decisive and proportionate response."

In another part of his remarks, this Sunni cleric referred to the role of the Axis of Resistance and said: "This axis is not a new phenomenon; rather, it is rooted in the historical resistance of the region's nations against occupation. Resistance groups, although aligned with Iran, are independent and do not operate under direct orders from Tehran."

Referring to claims about the disintegration of Iran, the Friday Prayer Leader of Ravansar County emphasized: "The Islamic Republic is a country with an ancient history and deep-rooted civilization that has preserved its existence for thousands of years despite numerous aggressions. It is not an artificial entity that can be destroyed."

He concluded his remarks by noting: "Recent developments and the renewed aggression of the US and the Zionist regime against Islamic Iran have strengthened national cohesion and unity in Iran and increased the people's determination to defend their country."
